<p>Holly has worked for Hogle Zoo since January 2007 and has been the driving force behind its efforts to embrace social media and utilize the Internet to share and broadcast its key messages.</p>
<p>In 2009 Holly received a <a href="http://www.utahsocialmediaawards.info/best-facebook-fan-page-utahs-hogle-zoo-1000411.htm" target="_blank">Utah Social Media Award</a> for her efforts on with the <a href="http://www.facebook.com/HogleZoo" target="_blank">Hogle Zoo Facebook fan page</a>. Also in 2009, the zoo welcomed more than one million visitors for the first time, perhaps in part due to Holly’s tremendous communication efforts.</p>
<p>Holly shares with Online PR Podcast listeners how she manages the communication outreach for Hogle Zoo. We talk about social media, distributing news releases, building and managing contact lists, working with traditional media, monitoring and measuring results.</p>

Co-hosts Pete Codella of Codella Marketing and Mark Polson of Code Greene interviewed Holly about the social media and public relations initiatives she’s in charge of at Hogle Zoo.
Holly has worked for Hogle Zoo since January 2007 and has been the driving force behind its efforts to embrace social media and utilize the Internet to share and broadcast its key messages.
In 2009 Holly received a Utah Social Media Award for her efforts on with the Hogle Zoo Facebook fan page. Also in 2009, the zoo welcomed more than one million visitors for the first time, perhaps in part due to Holly’s tremendous communication efforts.
Holly shares with Online PR Podcast listeners how she manages the communication outreach for Hogle Zoo. We talk about social media, distributing news releases, building and managing contact lists, working with traditional media, monitoring and measuring results.
