OPRP Episode 001 – 04.17.09
Welcome to the inaugural post of the new Online PR Podcast, a presentation of Code Greene and Codella Marketing, two Salt Lake City-based agencies.
Online PR Podcast delves into the world of public relations, marketing and advertising with a special focus on website development and search engine optimization.
Call it social media, new media, or just media, it’s all the rage.
Codella Marketing principal, Pete Codella, who is Accredited in public relations, and Code Greene CEO, Mark Polson, will discuss Internet marketing both from a content and coding perspective.
In this first episode, Polson and Codella discuss the disgusting Domino’s people incident on YouTube and the race between Ashton Kutcher and CNN to one million followers on Twitter.

A follow-up note regarding CNN’s Twitter account: I learned after recording this podcast that CNN actually wasn’t managing its own Twitter feed. Someone else started doing it, then CNN decided, once the following got large enough, that they had better partner with him and pay him to make it their own. So I’m glad Kutcher won, even if it was primarily his celebrity status that generated the one million followers.
